As the saying goes, Australians love a sunburnt country. As we ease COVID-19 restrictions in time for the warm weather, there are more opportunities to spend time in the sun working on that golden glow. Of course, most of us know the importance of protecting ourselves from the summer sun, but have you ever considered those colder months?

It might be surprising for some to learn that the cause of skin cancer actually has nothing to do with temperature or humidity, but something that can affect us all-year round.

Despite what some may believe, a spray tan is also not a substitute for sunscreen.
