August is Deakin’s time to shine! Our four Open Days will take place throughout August, with the first event kicking off in Warrnambool on Sunday 3 August.

Our Warrnambool campus is our headquarters for marine studies! Head to building E to explore our marine teaching labs where you can check out the classrooms you could be learning in about sustainably managing precious marine environments.
Is a medical career something you’ve always dreamed of?
Visit our newly renovated state-of-the-art allied health facilities in building F and J, home to our nursing and midwifery, occupational therapy and our medicine labs while chatting with academic staff and students about our courses and equipment.

Does the legal system ignite a passion within you?
Explore the Deakin Law Clinic in building AD – a community service offering free legal advice, assistance and information to people experiencing disadvantage in their access to justice. This teaching law firm is where Deakin students analyse complex legal problems while developing essential communication and problem-solving skills.
Interested in a career in occupational therapy?
Visit the team on level 4 of building D to see our custom‑designed specialist occupational therapy simulation space. Chat with academic staff and students and learn more about our course and equipment.
Do you have an interest in architecture or design?
Head to level 4, building D to see the exceptional work of Deakin’s School of Architecture and Built Environment students in the A+B Gallery before wandering into the A+B Studio to see what our current students are working on. Here you’ll also have the opportunity to chat to our staff and students who can help find the right course for you.
Interested in creative arts, communication or design?
Visit building P to see our high-tech learning facilities including our film and television studio. Watch the drama and dance students perform, participate in writing workshops and see our photography and visual arts studios.

Our new Law School building is a state-of-the art learning facility with award winning design. With flexible learning spaces over five levels, as well as our law school it also houses comprehensive student support, health and wellbeing services. A fitness centre and a café complement the informal study and relaxation spaces throughout the building.
